My Journey in User Research
Since childhood, I’ve been driven by a passion for making things better. Innovation has always excited me, leading to a career where I found the perfect intersection of people, technology, products, and systems. I’m inspired by the idea of empowering individuals to reach their full potential. With a PhD in Industrial Engineering focused on human factors and ergonomics, and over 15 years of experience in user research, I am driven to explore challenges, create meaningful solutions, and enhance the human experience.
I’ve had the opportunity to work at companies that create solutions with the power to truly impact the world — from healthcare, telecommunications, banking, and manufacturing to space exploration — enhancing human experiences on multiple levels.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with exceptional teams and individuals. I firmly believe that user research plays a critical role in exploring challenges, sparking ideas, and creating solutions that are valuable, usable, and loved by people. As a Senior UX Researcher, I bring a comprehensive toolkit of methods that spans the entire product lifecycle, from early discovery and exploratory work to validation, optimization, and long-term evaluation. My experience includes foundational, generative, formative, summative, and experimental research, enabling me to shape product strategy, de-risk decisions, and continuously elevate user experiences with confidence and clarity.
I’ve learned that my greatest impact doesn’t come from individual contributions alone, but from elevating the people and teams around me. Across multiple complex products, I’ve led with a focus on clarity, empowerment, and measurable outcomes. While onboarding and mentoring several researchers at once, I consistently fostered an environment where people could do their best work, resulting in stronger insights, clearer strategy, new leaders and accelerated delivery.

My World Outside of Work
I live in Austin, TX. When I’m not working or volunteering, you’ll often find me spending time with my family, gardening, or getting creative with art and crafts. I have a lifelong passion for learning and a curious spirit that keeps me exploring new ideas and experiences.
