Advancing complex systems through human-centered research, innovation, and real-world impact

From insight to impact: designing solutions that improve everyday life

Products

I directed and guided research efforts across 13 IBM Software products, including Cross Cloud Pak Research, Cloud Pak for Data, Workflow, Process Mining, Content Services, Hybrid Cloud Mesh, NS1, SevOne, IBM Network Intelligence, SaaS Network Observability, and Concert Workflows. Beyond enterprise and cloud systems, I also contributed to research supporting NASA and commercial space exploration missions, including probabilistic medical tools, Orion, commercial spacecraft programs, the ISS, and emerging standards and requirements for future space innovations. My experience extends to hardware-focused human factors research, ranging from crew cabin environments and smart habitability concepts for spaceflight to evaluating laptops, pens, powered backpacks, scanners, and other physical components.

Impact Through Research

My cross-industry research leadership has delivered measurable impact across IBM, NASA/KBR, HP, Medtronic, and Denison Industries. I’ve shaped 21+ products, driven multi-million-dollar savings, and accelerated operations with 16% faster deployments, 75% faster decision cycles, and 98% error reduction. Beyond product and system performance, I’ve aligned 380+ cross-functional partners, mentored 15+ researchers, and contributed to over 28 industry awards and publications—advancing innovation, strengthening collaboration, and de-risking mission-critical decisions through research excellence.
